Store size varies enormously, from a small corner grocery with a few aisles to a full supermarket chain location in Santa Monica with a bakery, seafood counter and food court under one roof. Sales and promotions are often posted in-store or in a weekly flyer rather than online, so prices listed on a website may be out of date. Seafood markets sell live and on-ice product and can usually clean or prepare fish on request for a small fee. Specialty food stores in California may focus narrowly on one category, like a butcher, a rice and dry goods shop, or an import store, so calling ahead to confirm stock for a specific item saves a wasted trip.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 7 amβ10 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (310) 315-0662. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is wholefoodsmarket.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
Customers rate it 4.3 out of 5 on Google across 1,084 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded asian grocery stores in Santa Monica.

I noticed that the woman working at the Amazon Returns counter and the man with glasses at customer service did not communicate with each other during my visit. They also did not appear welcoming or friendly toward customers. Better teamwork, communication, and a more positive attitude would create a much better customer experience.

I would like to provide feedback regarding my recent experience at the meat counter that I have been to, many times. I understand that Whole Foods has a policy requiring certain meat purchases above a specific value or quantity threshold to be held at the front of the store for pickup (which, not even the DTLA has this policy, which even further proves my point for profiling here in SAMO). I am familiar with and respect this policy. However, during my visit, I observed a customer ahead of me purchase significantly more meat than I did, with a much higher overall total spend across multiple selections, possibly 5 to 10 times the amount and price of my selection. Despite this, her purchase was handled differently. When I ordered only three steaks, I was immediately subjected to the front-hold procedure. What concerns me is the inconsistency in how this policy is applied. From my perspective, customers are not being treated equally, and I felt singled out based on assumptions rather than objective application of store policy. If the policy is based on purchase value, quantity, or another measurable standard, it should be applied consistently to all customers. I also want to note

Total dog-friendly store unlike other WF. They have a sign for legal reasons but this store and the employees love petting and spending time with dogs. We took our dogs in and there was no problem. Wish all WF are like this one.

I absolutely love the size of this store and all of the healthy fresh items they have to offer. I am in the store almost every day, picking up fresh fruit and something freshly prepared and offered at the soup bar, hot bar, cold bar, and I've even treated myself to a slice of pizza (very good - coming from a NY'r that is high praise π). I usually look for something that I can share with my 4 legged companion - Mo. I like that they have a 2 level parking garage below the store and there is security there while you are upstairs shopping. It allows me to leave the windows down further while I run up for a few things. Staff is super friendly and very helpful.

The place is amazing. Well stocked and beautiful. It has everything I needed. Prices are not very high for that quality of food. I like their bread and cheese. Staff that works in Amazon returns here is friendly.
